How You’ll Make an Impact

· Create product strategies and define product roadmaps based on customer and sales feedback.

· Define R&D project proposals and evaluate their business impact (investment cost, profitability, product ramp-up and projected revenues)

· Prepare R&D project requirement specifications and monitor project implementations.

· Assure factory and market introduction for new or improved portfolio elements.

· Coordinate product phase-out/succession planning.

· Monitor market and perform technical/commercial analyses of competitor products.

· Support business functions like global sales, offer and order management in all topics related to your portfolio elements.

· Promote and support digital initiatives within Siemens Energy

· Participate, when necessary, in International Committees for Standardization

What You Bring

· Expertise based on at least 8 years of experience with grid protection, control, and monitoring solutions for grid applications, especially for AIS/GIS switchgear for voltage level of more than 66 kV, is an advantage

· Master above, major in Electrical engineering or Electronic

· Business fluent in English. German language would be a plus.

· Ability to prepare and perform presentations to external customers and internal management.

· High level of self-management.

· Ability to lead and cooperate in global teams.

· Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking - decision-making capability.
