Responsibilities:
1. Conduct onsite supplier assessments / audits for potential new suppliers within the global sourcing strategy (BCC Best Cost Country Sourcing)
2. Assess suppliers’ capabilities and capacity and identify supplier risks, implement preventive actions in the projects
3. Work in interdisciplinary team (Simultaneous Engineering) with Purchasing, Engineering and Production to ensure correct understanding of group specification / requirement by new suppliers
4. Lead all quality development activities during project phase (APQP), SOP Timeline must be met.
5. Plan, organize and conduct process approval audits at suppliers onsite, final product approval according group and standard quality deliverables (PPAP/PPF)
6. Coordinate corrective actions in case of product deviations (8D-Reporting)
7. Monitor supplier performance and ensure fulfillment of group quality performance targets, audits based on escalated complaints / problem audits
8. Coordinate change management at supplier
9. Training of Quality Methods and Tools (SLF = Supplier Learning Factory)
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above in Engineering, strong mechanical background/knowledge, strong audit capability similar to ISO9001:2015 or VDA 6.3
2. At least 3 years working experience in the areas of quality engineering within Manufacturing, Automotive, Construction industry
3. Experienced at assessment of supplier process, with proficient knowledge of quality standards/tools such as ISO9001/IATF16949, VDA6.3, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D problem techniques;
4. Familiar with casting, forging, gear, precision machining parts and bearing with working experience;
5. Good interpersonal & communication skills, strong executive capability and high responsibilities awareness;
6. Good project management skills;
7. Self-motivated, reliable, team player, willing to business trip
8. Good command of Chinese and English in speaking and writing,.
9 Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
