岗位职责:
1. Job Purpose
工作目标
- To assist as directed in the presentation and service of food and to maintain close liaisons with the Food & Beverage service team to provide the highest standards of food and service to our guests.
- 协助做好食品的展示和服务,并与餐饮服务团队保持密切联系,为客人提供最高标准的食品和服务。
- Establish and maintain strong communication links with the F&B team and with other departments across the hotel and resort.
- 与餐饮团队和酒店及度假村其他部门建立并保持良好的沟通联系。
- Inspire excellent food production delivery and presentation at all times, using recipes and menu cards where appropriate.
- 在任何时候,使用食谱和菜单卡,鼓励优秀的食品生产交付和展示。
- To liaise with Kitchen team members to check on a daily basis the business and menu requirements for guests.
- 与厨房团队成员联系,每天检查客人的业务和菜单要求。
- To maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, fire and food safety as instructed by the Merlin Entertainments Group and local Environmental Health.

- To ensure the safe keeping of all Kitchen equipment.

- Supports the Chef de Parties to maintain strict control and monitoring of wastage, portions and stock rotation.

- To ensure opening and closing procedures and cleaning schedules are maintained as per the kitchen Standards of Performance manual.

- Relate to the dynamic nature of the hotel industry and understand that from time to time you may be required to assist in wider LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort events or occasions.

4. Communication

- Work closely with the Chef de Parties to ensure the smooth running of the Kitchen areas within the hotel and provide regular operational updates.

- Maintain excellent lines of communication with both members of staff and guests.
- 与员工和客人保持良好的沟通。
5. Decision Making & Autonomy

- Ensure full compliance of SOP’s within the Kitchen and take appropriate action where necessary.

- Ensure all commodities are ordered, received, checked and stored correctly as per SOP’s.
- 确保所有商品的订购,接收,检查和储存都按照SOP正确进行。
- Work alongside the kitchen team work to minimum and maximum stock levels to minimise wastage and maximise storage.

7. Making Resources

- To ensure all cleaning materials and equipment within the kitchen are used in conjunction with manufacturers’ specifications and as instructed in the SOP’s.

- To comply with all Hotel and Company rules as outlined in handbooks and to be aware of Company Disciplinary and Grievance procedures.

- To ensure all accidents or near accidents caused by hazards are reported to the Duty Manager or the Health and Safety Manager.

- To ensure all kitchen, including knives, are used correctly with care and attention and report to a senior member any defective equipment.

- Take an active interest in monitoring and reviewing guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and maintain excellent levels of guest satisfaction.

9. Health & Safety

Employees are responsible for the safety of themselves, their colleagues and guests (where appropriate), in line with the Group Policy (HS001) and the law. In particular, they must ensure that they follow safe working procedures for all work activities that they undertake, and they must not use any tools or equipment for which they have not been trained. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are reported to their line manager and must cooperate with any investigation as appropriate.

- Requires progressive years of professional-level experience in kitchens, with demonstrable experience as an COOK (or equivalent role/job experience).

- Minimum 3years of work experience in China and be familiar with local diet preference
3年以上在中国境内工作的经验,并熟悉本地饮食喜好
- Knowledge on food and beverage systems preferred with stock taking ability. Industry experience in a theme park, hotel or resort preferred.

- A culinary degree or bachelor's in business, food service management (or equivalent education and experience) is required.

- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to support Resort operations.

-金山石化线:自金山百联出发,途径金山万达后抵达。
