Objectives & Keys Tasks
▪ Analyze China and South Asia market needs and consolidate global market
needs based on global teams’ inputs, for the relevant customer groups,
focusing on semi pro and entry price range
▪ Benchmark relevant competitors especially from China and consolidate
information with other competitors, globally
▪ Prepare overall business case (volume / value at stakes), ensure accretive
standard margin with strong cost supervision and monitor P&L
▪ Creation of requirements for new relevant products, coordination with R&D,
quality assurance, technical support, service and sales
▪ Product development: lead through NPD process such as hardware/software
features’ development and assemblies
▪ Definition of existing and implementation of new processes as well as the
corresponding training of employees (at different locations)
▪ Documentation of operating instructions and technical documents
▪ Handling of small projects and special productions
▪ Master data management in SAP / relevant ERP
▪ Lifecycle management and maintenance of existing product rang
Education & Qualifications
▪ Education
▪ Degree in engineering (or business administration) with a focus on management
or industrial engineering
▪ Bachelor or better Master degree
▪ Skills & Expertise required
▪ professional experience in the field of product management of at least 5 years
▪ technical understanding or previous technical training
▪ conceptual thinking, cost/benefit orientation, solution orientation
▪ organisational and market orientation
▪ ability to work under pressure
▪ strong implementation skills
▪ good knowledge of English
