1. Purpose of the Job
The Associate Director, Treasury APAC is responsible for credit management of the APAC zone. Budweiser APAC is a standalone subsidiary of AB Inbev, the world’s largest brewer. The Associate Director is to oversee the credit granting process, ensure the company’s credit risk is minimized while maximizing sales and profitability. Key responsibilities of the role involve 1) assessing creditworthiness of key accounts and wholesales, 2) establishing and managing credit limits, 3) managing account receivables and optimizing core working capital, and 4) working closely with RTM / Sales to maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders across Bud APAC countries (including China, East Asia (Korea and Japan), India and Southeast Asia (Vietnam and Thailand).
2. Accountabilities
The Associate Director is responsible for:
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure effective credit risk management across APAC region
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of key accounts and wholesalers through financial analysis, credit reports, and other relevant data
- Establish and review credit limits for key accounts and wholesalers based on risk assessment and global credit policy
- Monitor and manage the company’s accounts receivable portfolio to ensure timely collections and minimize bad debt
- Collaborate with sales teams to support business growth while maintaining credit risk standards
- Prepare monthly reports on credit and collection activities, highlighting key metrics and trends for senior management decision-making
- Proactively generate ideas that is NPV accretive to the company
- Identify Treasury process improvement opportunities, develop and implement best practice across AB Inbev
- Other treasury related requirements as a listing company to fulfill

4. Qualifications and Technical competencies required
Education:
Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Economics, Finance, or Business, CFA or MBA preferred
Experience:
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in treasury and credit management, preferably within a corporate environment
• Demonstrated strength in financial analysis and communication
• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and credit policies
Technical competencies:
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Absolute integrity in dealing with confidential and stock price sensitive information
• The ability to think and act independently. A self-starter.
• Highly developed influencing skills
• Helicopter view and strong interest in the business and other matters that might influence
• Comfort and experience working internationally and with different cultures
• Fluent in English and Mandarin;
