The design position is a design role within Sagarit NPD department that builds the future vision through innovative product design. This position will oversee design, guide and execute the design development of bathroom vanity for North American market.

l Work closely with Marketing team on the design and execution of unique innovative product concepts for the specific product category. Design and develop products consistent with seasonal trends and concepts and customer/business needs. Manage the design development process throughout its lifecycle, under the leadership of the NPD director.

l Develop designs through rendering or CAD, and present them to internal team and partners.

l Collaborate with NPD leader across the organization to develop cohesive collections and establish strategic plans and objectives.

l Lead the design development of product lines into well positioned price points, contributing to successful business growth as a specialist for bathroom vanity.

l Manage the design development process through its entire lifecycle, from concept and ideation stages, through design sketch reviews, sample reviews, product finalizations.

l Travel for design inspiration and trend of product development working with key vendor partners and in collaboration with our sourcing teams.

Required Skills

l Minimum of 5 year experience working in the home furnishing design and manufacturing industry for North American market, understand the trend of North America and Europe.

l Strong knowledge of raw material, furniture design, manufacturing processes and engineering for cost effective design; experience working in/traveling to the North America

l Proficient with software of photoshop, CAD and rendering software

l Passion for design, style and decorating, and strong knowledge of design and art history

l Ability to interact and collaborate with customers/vendors

l Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
