Brief description of the position/ Range of responsibility

• This position holds responsibility for identification, planning, preparation and implementation inside and outside vehicle/components conformity check and tests. Position holder is responsible for preparation of test budget, coordination of the
  commissioning of the laboratories, institutes and technical services. The responsibilities
  include the receiving formal check and collecting of CoP tests results and. The position holder is responsible for monitoring of the result, the fulfillment of the test plan, and for taking necessary action according to the results of the tests.

Key Tasks

• Identification of the legal and internal required CoP tests for the sales markets.
• Coordination with the test institutes and laboratories regarding performing the CoP (Conformity of Production) tests.
• Creation of the test plan.
• Planning and ordering of the tests vehicles and components.
• Organizing and coordinating the delivery of the components and vehicles required for tests to the test laboratories.
  Evaluating, selecting and logistic provider.
• Budget planning for CoP tests.
• Evaluation and selecting of testing institution according to qualification, capacity etc. Carrying out the technical evaluation of the offers of the testing institutes.
• Commissioning of the test laboratories and institutes.
• Regular reporting and monitoring of the fulfillment of the CoP test plan.
• Carrying out the visual conformity checks.
• Responsible for the processes in his area of expertise. And as the contact person for CoP topics in the plant.
• Complete the task arranged by immediate leader.
• If applicable, participation in CoP working groups, and the annual CoP meeting.
• Complete the task arranged by immediate leader.

Qualification and skills

• Master or Bachelor Degree in engineering or other higher technical training.
• Preferably in mechanical, electrical, or vehicle.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle
• Knowledge of homologation process of the vehicles and components knowledge of China
• Compulsory Certification (CCC) or European certification.
• Knowledge of tests required by Chinese and European certification bodies.
• Knowledge of the Conformity of Production.
• Fluent English, Germany is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years in the Automobile Industry in the areas of: Quality, Production, Homologation, Development.
