Job Description:
Primary duties of the Project Manager, ESG - GHG includes the following:
The Project Manager will be managing projects independently under CEA's ESG scope. The scope includes but is not limited to ESG audits, ESG materiality assessments, ESG report writing, ESG topical advisory to clients and ESG related in-house and client-based training. The project Manager, ESG – GHG is further instrumental in the ESG - GHG product development for CEA's service portfolio. The Project Manager is also responsible for the high-quality execution of the projects according to the order's scope to satisfy the client and deliver reports as required for the services. Creating and maintaining CEA's QMS system documentation for ESG-GHG, as well as operationalizing the services into the execution teams through internal training.
i.
Lead ESG-GHG related audits to perform and execute in a timely and successful manner the following scopes but not limited to:
a)
Provide ESG-GHG advisory to clients in supply chain related services (Scope 1, 2 & 3)
b)
ESG-GHG report and disclosures reporting
c)
Utilize a risk-based approach to evaluate GHG materiality assessments at the photovoltaic, battery storage, inverter, electrolyzer supply chains and other occurring GHG related needs.
d)
Execute carbon footprint, GHG emission, Embedded carbon, EPD and LCA calculations and other related assessments according to industry and market trends
e)
ESG-GHG related technical training for both internal and external stakeholders
f)
Other emission related services requested by a client and offered through an order scope
g)
Coordinate and organize the resources provided by the company
ii.
Ensure projects are executed following project management practices in place from proposal to delivery and project closure
a)
Support the business development team in identifying client’s needs for emissions related topics
b)
Lead GHG emissions proposal development in liaison with technical sales and business development
c)
Review and evaluate the service deliverable-related requirements to estimate and manage the internal budget
d)
Engage with clients during project hand-offs, kick-offs, progress meetings, delivery and close out meetings and NPS submissions
e)
Draft reports through the projects' execution processes, ensuring the quality and timeliness of the reports
f)
Arrange the internal and external communication about the project execution, update the project status timely to senior managent and account managers to ensure the smooth execution of the project and reasonable resource application
g)
Conduct periodic project deliverable reviews, lessons learned and summarize project experiences
iii.
Responsible of identifying market/clients needs and developing (new) services for ESG-GHG services.
a)
Identify market trends, regulatory framework, standards or guidelines for service development.
b)
Liaise with marketing team to develop marketing collateral and deliver external training commercially through webinars, inhouse and public means.
c)
Advise in evaluating, selection and implementing IT-supporting tools specific to ESG-GHG deliverables
iv.
Other management work assigned by departemental management and/or Director, ESG and Traceability.
Qualifications/Requirements:
i.
Education:
Masters level education related to environment, sustainability, chemistry and/or in combination with engineering-related subjects.
ii.
Experience:
a)
Preferably 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry, real estate or financing with exposure to EHS, ESG, GHG and/or sustainability-related topics
b)
Required exposure to ESG-GHG based report writing for annual report disclosures
c)
Knowledge of carbon footprint, embodied carbon and GHG emission calculation concepts
iii.
Professional technical and skills in any of the following:
a)
Familiar with auditing, verification and assurance based on standards (ISO 9000, ISO14000, ISO45000, ISO26000, ISO 50000, ISO14064, ISO14065, AA1000, COSO and/or VCS)
b)
Familiar with accreditation and verification standards specific to ESG-GHG standards (CDP)
c)
Familiar with GHG scope 1, 2 & 3 methods, assessments, validation and reporting
d)
Familiar with ESG-GHG reporting standards (VCS, GH GRP, SASB, GRI, TCFD, IFRS s1&s2, CSRB)
e)
Familiar with risk assessment concepts and risk profiling methods according ISO 31000
f)
Familiar with GHG databases for calculations and standard values
g)
Familiar with GHG data gathering and reporting platforms
h)
Involvement with materiality assessments and annual reporting for ESG
i)
Knowledge of accreditation standards and audits
j)
Involvement with creating and maintaining QMS-related procedures and work instructions
k)
Good knowledge of applicable national/regional ESG-GHG legislations (EU/US/ROW)

Solid and structured analytical, problem-solving and writing skills
m)
Professional conduct in dealing with client-related sensitive topics
n)
Strong cross-cultural teamwork and communication skills

Required fluent in both written and spoken business English

Trained to deliver GRI, TCFD, ISSB, CDP or equivalent reporting standards
