Objectives:
This role will take the lead for ongoing
process monitoring and assessment of the organizational procedures and policies
to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards, and provide
necessary legal support.
Job responsibilities:
·
Responsible for all company legal and compliance matters, including but
not limited to regulatory, litigation, commercial, corporate governance and
funding matters.
·
Work as a legal expert to handle legal matters, including but not
limited to providing legal advice in relation to matters and decisions of
business, handling disputes of all matters, managing and coordinating any legal
procedures.
·
Supervise and manage external counsels, adopting a proactive approach in
vendor management, such as legal budgets and spending.
·
Support Board of Directors meeting to handle corporate governance
matters, such as convening shareholders’ meetings and board meeting and process
all power of attorney matters for shareholders and directors.
·
Design and implement a company-wide compliance management process
(including compliance testing, self-monitoring, etc.)
·
Establish and communicate corporate compliance policies, standards and guidelines.
·
Review business unit compliance programs, policies, procedures and
controls.
·
Forecast and report legal and compliance risks to senior management.
·
Monitor regulatory environment and advise appropriate management.
·
Anticipate regulatory, legal and compliance issues.
·
Advice Finance, Sales, Risk Management, HR and other business units on
legal and compliance issues.
·
Carry out other ad hoc assignments, support activities as required by
the business.
Job requirements:
·
Bachelor degree or above.
·

Job requirements:
·
Bachelor degree or above.
· At least 10 years legal or compliance working experience either in Auto
Finance or other financial industry.
·
Experience in dealing with financial regulators;
·
Strong inter-personal communication skills;
·
Good command of written and spoken English.
