Job Summary/ Overview:

This position performs skilled consecutive, first-person

interpretation. Work is performed and reviewed under direct supervision, using
well-defined policies and procedures. Limited opportunity exists for exercising
independent judgment and decision-making. An incumbent refers most problems to a supervisor and generally all non-routine problems.

Experience in years - 0 to 5 years (Fresh graduates are welcome)

Qualification - Any graduate - High School Graduate, Diploma, Bachelor, or comparable IT professional experience.

Language Proficiency - Fluent in Cantonese & English

Salary range: RM 5000+

Sign on bonus: RM 1000 if the contract is extended for 12 months

Work location: Tech Mahindra, Cyberjaya, Selangor (Work from Office)

Transport allowance: RM 500 per month (pro-rated)

Working hours - Full time office mode 5 days per week(Monday to Friday), regular Saturday & Sunday Off.

Working hours: 9 PM to 6 AM/ 10 PM to 7 AM

Shifts: Permanent night shift, shift allowances provided (RM 25 per night)

Required Skills:

• Fluency in Cantonese & English is Mandatory

• Skilled at communicating, both orally and in writing in Cantonese & English

• Basic understanding of linguistics and different cultures.

• Skilled in adjusting to rapidly changing circumstances.

• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Responsibility:

• Provides meaning-for-meaning interpreting.

• Follows interpreter protocols as per training, policies, and procedures.

• Follows all policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.

• Attends all required training.
