BMW Financial Services HongKong Ltd. now is looking for a Manager Legal & Compliance, this role is responsible for ensuring company is compliant with laws, regulatory requirements and internal compliance regulations. Mainly responsible for adopt, develop and implement an effective local Compliance Management System in accordance with Financial Service compliance guidelines, programs and projects; Act as Legal Coordinator to handle all legal and Company Secretary topics; Act as Operational Risk Manager to handle all Operational Risk topics.
What awaits you?
-You will coordinate with Operational Risk Delegates to identify operational risks in HK business and assess impact on Company.
-You will manage annual Risk Self Assessment workshops with internal departments and update ORM system requirements.
-You will manage the regular review and quarterly training to Operational Risk Delegates.
-You will responsible for KRI collection and analysis, CCA Survey assessment and annual repeat cycle.
-You will responsible for building up and updating to Internal Controls System framework of Sales & Operations & HK, including identification of process risks and design and implementation of relevant controls to minimize risks.
-You will develop and maintain relationships with key employees within each department to monitor progress of Risk minimization strategies.
-You will responsibility for management of all external and internal audit points, including coordination of relevant involved parties to close all open points.
-You will follow up audit result.
-You will support to HK Circle and Risk Committee decision follow up.
-You will responsible as Secretary for HK Risk Committee (HKRC).
-You will understand requirements of Emergency and Crisis Management and responsible for The Guideline annual review and support to yearly rehearsal.
-You will support on project implementation.
-You will set up and implement Compliance Management Framework (including Monitoring and Assessment)
-You will Implement compliance training program, compliance processes, tools and IT-systems.
-You will set up and implement Anti-Money Laundering Framework.
-You will responsible for regular compliance risk assessments, including privacy impact assessments and data protection requirements analyses.
-You will coordinate legal matters between the company, external legal advisors and headquarters legal department.
-You will lead contract management within BMW Financial Services HongKong Ltd.
-You will be responsible for the management of monitoring of relevant legal requirements for compliance.
-You will manage legal templates, laws & regulations in Intranet and keep them updated in time.
-You will be responsible for management of internal rules and regulations.
-You will be responsible for compliance case management (inquiries e.g. by employees, customers and authorities, complaints and incidents) including management of compliance measures.
-You will responsible for regular and ad-hoc compliance reporting to local management board and compliance headquarters functions.
-You will apply the compliance instruments to the Compliance Subjects in order to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks: Anti-Fraud Prevention, Anti-Money Laundering, Antiturst prevention, Corruption Prevention, Data Privacy Protection, Information Protection, Protection Customer Data.
-You will advises employees, business departments and management in compliance matters.
-You will performs root cause analysis of legal complaints.
-You will handle compliance topics with IT.
-You will provide support to AML Officer for the regulatory reporting of AML topics.
Qualifications and experience.
- Bachelor Degree or above in Law, Company Secretary, or Compliance professional.
- Experience in compliance, internal control, audit or related fields
- Experience in operational risk management, internal / external audit is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, with the ability to negotiate at senior management level.
- Analytical skills.
- Fluent in oral and written English is a must, fluent in Cantonese is preferred.
- Computer literate especially with Excel, Word and Power point.
- Smart communication skills, strong learning ability.
- Open to change, logical thinker, customer oriented, and self motivated.
