MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Merchandising team in implementation of business plan.
- Source, liaise and build relationship with existing and new vendors and negotiate contracts.
- Presenting new product range to Store Managers. Develop merchandising plans for stores and review regularly to refresh store site and zone display.
- Work with Marketing department to make recommendations on sales promotions and provide support to Marketing department in developing POP.
- Evaluate local and direct import items periodically to develop merchandising mix of each category; to achieve optimal sales and margin.
- Conduct regular store visits and meet up with Store Managers to discuss and make adjust merchandising display.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Buyer with a big box retailer
- Proven ability to work both autonomously and within a team, able to confidently communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Experience developing and executing strategic plans to drive sales and margin
- Ability to drive continuous improvement through collaboration and strong vendor and internal stakeholder relationshipsProven analytical and negotiation skills. Can work productivity in a fast pace environment with deadlines and multi tasks.
