As a Buyer at Toys“R”Us China Headquarter office, you will be cultivating, building and guiding one of the world’s most fun and exciting brands and its operations. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Support Merchandising team in implementation of business plan.
  2. Source, liaise and build relationship with existing and new vendors and negotiate contracts.
  3. Presenting new product range to Store Managers. Develop merchandising plans for stores and review regularly to refresh store site and zone display.
  4. Work with Marketing department to make recommendations on sales promotions and provide support to Marketing department in developing POP.
  5. Evaluate local and direct import items periodically to develop merchandising mix of each category; to achieve optimal sales and margin.
  6. Conduct regular store visits and meet up with Store Managers to discuss and make adjust merchandising display.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. A minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Buyer with a big box retailer
  2. Proven ability to work both autonomously and within a team, able to confidently communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders
  3. Experience developing and executing strategic plans to drive sales and margin
  4. Ability to drive continuous improvement through collaboration and strong vendor and internal stakeholder relationshipsProven analytical and negotiation skills. Can work productivity in a fast pace environment with deadlines and multi tasks.
  5. Self-motivated with business prospective.
  6. Ensure compliance with all business partners, legal and ethics standards
  7. Committed to excellence. Love/hobby in toys are a plus
