Job Summary

As a member within the financial services international tax team, you'll demonstrate an understanding of tax concepts and effectively apply your tax knowledge to client situations. You'll assist in the delivery of tax planning ideas with timely, responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed client expectations. You'll also thoroughly and accurately analyze information and assist in the preparation of quality, practical approaches tailored to the client's economic situation, arriving at logical conclusions. Your remit will include participating in and contributing to the achievement of team goals.


Key responsibilities in the role of Senior:

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, winning work proactively and contributing to winning new clients;

• Shape and articulate solutions to complex technical problems working with stakeholders from EY, client and tax authority stakeholders;

• High level management of the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business driven approach taken;

• Able to identify and manage areas of risk for clients and the firm, consulting appropriately;

• Responsibility for day-to-day delivery of exceptional client service;


Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience in transfer pricing area

• Degree or postgraduate degree in finance, economics, business administration or relevant tax degree. Preferably with professional qualifications such as CPA, CTA, ACCA.

• Strong transfer pricing technical skills with experience wide variety of industries, preferably with experience on financial services clients;

• Experience of financial modelling and application of financial and economic analysis techniques to transfer pricing problems;

• Experience of managing large-scale projects involving teams from multiple expertise areas and locations;

• Strategically and commercially aware and committed to delivery of exceptional client service;

• Negotiation skills - able to sustain opinion and handle challenges;

• Effective time management - ability to remain calm when under pressure to meet deadlines;

• Business proficiency in English and able to lead client conversations in English

• Enthusiastic team player with ability to create, sustain and lead effective teams;
