1. Fulfill purchasing tasks with assigned suppliers in Chassis Systems projects

- Coordinate with cross functions to go through sourcing process and designate the recommended suppliers.

- Reach agreement with suppliers for NDA, Purchase Contract, RASIC, etc.

- Coordinate with project buyer and drive purchasing related activities with suppliers to achieve safe launch of assigned suppliers

- Overall timing management of assigned suppliers

- Order sample parts and track delivery status for build phases

- Conduct investigation/clarification with suppliers for capacity requirement

- Deal with critical supplier issues during project phase

2. When assigned as project buyer, functionally lead individual buyers to support acquisition & guarantee the safe launch of Chassis Systems projects

- Sub-project manager and representative of purchasing team in project

- Actively coordinate with cross functions and drive all the purchasing tasks as mentioned

- Responsible for overall production material cost if required by the business model

- Address critical purchasing related issues with cross functional team

- Support buyers to deal with critical supplier issues during project phase

3. Series production purchasing activities for plants in the region with assigned suppliers

- Act as purchasing coordinator for plant located at China or other Asian countries

- Create and maintain in SAP system for purchasing/ supplier/ material data

- Generate and update scheduling agreement with suppliers for price adjustment

- Conduct investigation/clarification with suppliers for capacity requirement

- Support plant to handle critical supplier commercial & delivery issues

- Support SQE to handle critical supplier quality issues

4. Engineering Changes

- Evaluate changes of supplier, production planning and development (e.g. costs, quality) and to coordinate the implementation.

- Track and document the implementation of drawing and process changes.

Prepare & lead for negotiations on contracts, volume changes, amounts, prices, productivities, delivery requirements, cost acceptance, etc.

Requirement:

1. 3+ years Purchasing experience in automotive industry

2. Fluent English both in written & oral is a must.

3. Solid experience to work in an international team and matrix organizations

4. Strong problem solving skills with can-do attitude
