The Product Specialist is responsible for the software product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle,including: defining the product vision, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and working closely with the development team to ensure every software feature is implemented to meet customer's requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

 Define and communicate product vision and strategy to the development team and stakeholders.

 Work independently to collaborate with internal/external customers to understand their real needs and incorporate the feedback into the product roadmap.

 Manage, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that all items are aligned with the product vision and business objectives.

 Develops persona together with user experience experts.

 Ensure each user story is ready for development and has the correct acceptance criteria.

 Work closely with development and quality assurance team, to clarify the requirements, and ensure the deliverables meet acceptance criteria.

 Work with cross-functional team on product release planning, and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities.

 Prioritizes defect or bug resolution.

Qualifications/Requirements:

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

 8+years of experience and proven track record, and minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Specialist.

 Subject matter expertise in the healthcare software product such as HIS, RIS.

 Excellent detailed written and verbal communication skills, possibly including some user interface documentation skills.

 Excellent teamwork skills especially influencing and working collaboratively with development teams is especially important.

 In-depth understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.

 Skillful in prototype designing tools like: Axure, MoDao etc.
