What will you do?
Has a significant focus on BEPS 2.0
Applies technical knowledge when assisting leadership in client compliance and reporting projects
Assists partners and directors in identifying and developing solutions for clients in view of changes in tax and accounting regulations in China and globally
Leads China and/or cross-border business tax related projects for clients including multinational and local clients
Advises on a wide range of business tax matters from compliance to planning. Understanding and explaining the implications of expansion, acquisition, divestment, and reorganization in local and international contexts
Works closely with other service lines and other Deloitte offices in China or overseas to deliver cross-functional and/or cross-borders projects
Manages a portfolio of clients and work experience in the field of international tax, cross-border transactions, M&A, or BEPS/Pillar Two is highly preferred
A fit for the role?
Bachelor's degree or above in tax, accounting, finance, law or other related disciplines
Professional accounting qualification or PRC registered tax agent or lawyer is required
Over 2 years of experience in tax function with CPA firms (Big 4 experience is preferred), law firms, tax authorities or large corporation.
In-depth understanding of tax policies, rules and regulations
Strong analytical and highly commitment to quality client service
Strong consultation skills, communication skills, self-initiation, teamwork spirit and willingness to work under pressure
Be mature, proactive, committed, motivated with strong sense of teamwork
Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
Excellent leadership and business development skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including both technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills. Proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage
