Responsibilities:

1. Lead a testing team to achieve all assigned KPI(s)

2. Take the role of Test Manager in an IT project to conduct ST/SIT/UAT, and responsible for the software quality

3. Engage in the initial phase of an IT project to identify test requirements, provide cost estimation, propose high level test solution and present to management team

4. Plan and manage the testing resources for the project, work with the team to deliver testing work, such as test requirement, cost estimation, test strategy/plan, test cases, test environment, test results, test reports, test automation, performance testing, etc.

5. Coordinate among relevant teams, such as TSS IT, Local IT, local QA, Group IT, business users, to ensure the testing work delivered within agreed time, cost and quality

6. Manage and monitor all testing activities, escalate any issues/risks to management team

7. Upgrade the automation testing platform with new technologies, such as device farm and AI, introduce the automation solution to AIA business units for improvement of test efficiency and cost saving

8. Maintain a good relationship with key stakeholders and customers, develop more business opportunities to extend testing services

9. Team management, including team members’ goal setting, performance review, task assignment, training, recruitment, etc.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or IT related discipline

2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, worked in multinational company or insurance industry is a plus

3. Hands-on experience with automation framework and tools, such as Selenium, Appium, XCUI Test, Playwright, UI Path, Power Automate, JMeter, etc.

4. Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and QA process, have full stack (front-end, middleware, backend) development mindset is a plus.

5. Proficient in testing theories and methodologies, ISTQB or PMP certification is preferable

6. Proven experience in test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and test reporting

7. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical stakeholders, excellent documentation and presentation skills, fluent spoken English

8. Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

9. Self-starter and willing to working under pressure, can have short term domestic and international business trip time to time (Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, etc.)
