Application Support (First Line)– Volvo Group Connected Solutions

1 000 000 Volvo Group customer assets. Together with customers, partners and the Volvo Group we create real value, not only for our customers but also for society at large.
We are now looking for the First Line Application Support who will be part of the team being established to manage support and monitor of connectivity services being rolled out in China.
You need to be passionate about securing that our connected services are available at all times by treating incidents with speed and attention. We think you are an experienced and passionate IT specialist who wants to be part of our team with highly engaged and skilled specialists who support the connected solutions offered by Volvo Group.
The role
The application support carries out the first line support and service monitoring by trouble shooting the features and backend system. This is 24*7 support function and provides helpdesk service to China customers. This requires a good understanding of the user roles, the technical platform, the features and the services provided. It involves collaboration with teams based in Sweden, India and US. In this role, you will also be interfacing local Chinese Volvo Group stakeholders, partners and suppliers.
As part of security working group of connected solution in China, you will also need to dedicate on tasks regarding cybersecurity and information security for compliance purposes.
The Key Responsibilities Are
• Service monitoring and event handing
• Communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external partners
• Coordinate during major incident and send out customer notifications
• MLPS(Cybersecurity)support works
• System development support works
• Walk extra mile for AI innovation and exploration
Your profile

Required Knowledge and Experience
• Have basic understanding of ITIL and SLA .
• Experience from technical support is an advantage.
• Experience in system development(JAVA, Python, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience in Cybersecurity is a plus.
• Interest or experience in AI technologies.
• 1-3 years working experience with a university degree within Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
• Be skilled in managing communication with multiple stakeholders both internal and external
• Good English with both speaking and writing, which is a MUST
