Meinhardt (China) is part of the Meinhardt International Group. The Company principally provides multi-disciplinary integrated engineering services under one roof in the areas of Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Land and Air Transportation, Marine, Infrastructure and related engineering disciplines. The Group also provides principal consultancy, project management and planning services related to engineering.

The Meinhardt Group commenced operations in Australia in 1955 and in Singapore and Hong Kong in 1974, quickly expanding its boundaries to other countries in the region. Today, the Group maintains 30 permanent offices worldwide. Meinhardt has been operating in China for many years and currently maintains 4 offices – Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen.

The Group currently employs in excess of 4500 permanent staff, whilst the China offices (including Hong Kong) employ 1200 highly skilled managers, engineers, technicians and support staff, including expatriates.

Owing to our presence in Hong Kong and Singapore for more than 25 years, most of our key people are able to effectively communicate in Mandarin. The Group has established excellent working relationships with most major Design Institutes and Local Authorities. Our engineers are fully conversant with the local codes, documentation requirements and submission procedures in China.

We are truly a multi-disciplinary engineering company with an impressive track record in all engineering disciplines and have provided integrated engineering services for most of our prestigious projects. The Group’s projects are spread over 36 countries.

Meinhardt has an impressive track record of design, documentation and construction supervision of numerous major projects in China. These include hotels, offices, commercial, residential, industrial and infrastructure projects. Over 50 projects have been completed since 1988.
