1.Core project team member, representing quality and assuring quality on product
Responsible for achieving quality objectives in the project in the design and development phase
2.Develop Product Quality Plan, considering customer, durability and reliability requirements
3.Implement and lead design robustness activities in project or program
4.Supports benchmarking and competitive analysis activities
5.Drive Design for Value (DfV) activities related to quality (or DFSS – Design for Six Sigma)
6.Assessing and evaluating test methods in verification and validation phase
7.Evaluates design concept and participate in design review to meet quality objectives
8.Design-Review-checklist process adherence verification
9.Using statistical techniques to create sampling plans and execute data analysis
10.Supports (facilitates when needed) Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) and assures that associated risks are monitored, and actions are defined to mitigate risk
11.Creates Prototype Control Plans
12.Conduct lessons learned, read-across workshops and verifies that Design Guidelines are updated
13.Supports project team to identify relevant field use cases
14.Conduct Critical to Quality Validation (CQT-Validation) prior to design release
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)
1.Engineering degree or equivalent experience; 3 plus years of experience in automotive
2.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
3.Broad understanding and application of statistics and risk assessment tools
4.Test method development and validation experience
5.Lean Six Sigma experience, leading Green Belt or Black Belt projects
6.New product development and introduction experience
7.Excellent attention to detail and process/system orientation
