Purpose of the Role:
To manage Finance, Accounting, and Tax daily operations, including Cost Control, Reporting and Planning & Analysis. This will include daily cost control, month-end-closing and reporting activities, also lead the process of Budget / reforecast at site. He/she must ensure that the site operates within budget and comply with all financial regulations while maintaining high standards of financial reporting and control.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s (or above) degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or equivalent
• Having minimum 10 years in middle managerial level
• Proven working experience as Finance & Cost Control Manager
• Having exposure to a processing plant, industrial and / or manufacture industry will be a plus
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the efficiency of the company’s overall financial operation by managing and controlling all aspects in Treasury, Accounting and Tax
• Ensure Treasury department is well managed through preparing & controlling budget, managing cash & bank receipts, payments and monitoring fund movements
• Ensure accurate & timely accounting practices, for monthly and yearly closing-book and consolidation to produce accurate financial reports & Cost Control.
• Ensure all Tax responsibilities are carried out accurately and timely
• Developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
• Lead the process of annual budget and quarter forecast, liaise with all departments and stakeholders to ensure numbers is reliable and reasonable as per corporate guideline
• Ensure timely and reliable reporting as per corporate reporting timeline, with accurate numbers and analysis, including: End of Month Performance presentation to CEO, COO and CFO; monthly and quarter report
• Able to work with tight deadline, dynamic working environment, and new challenges
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin
• High level critical thinking, analysis and reasoning is mandatory
• Reliable, hands on individual and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
