Major Responsibilities and Objectives:
• Leading the delivery of the Interior Design of large-scale property development projects.
• Manage external consultants, architects, engineers to ensure the design is completed on time, with high quality and within budget.
• Manage the Interior Design schedule and milestones in accordance of project overall design timeline.
• Assist construction team to make sure on-site implementation is in accordance with design requirement.
Major Tasks and Activities:
• Prepare Interior Design Brief; assist to prepare other Design Briefs.
• Prepare tender for design consultant. Assess tender documents and prepare tender reports.
• Review Interior Design and technical drawings. Assist to review drawings from other disciplines.
• Develop and manage the design schedules.
• Prepare presentation documents.
• Assess technical tender for main contractor/sub-contractors.
• conduct regular/daily site checks to assist construction team for on-site implementation of design & quality of work
• Establish quality control procedure & its enforcement
• Liaise with local authorities on matters related to approvals. Prepare relevant documents.
• Assess final account on related items.
• In-house planning/design
• Any other duties assigned by the Team Leader
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
• Degree/ masters in Architecture or Interior Design or related disciplines
• Registered Architect/Interior designer or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in large scale commercial/office/shopping malls/hotel projects
• Solid understanding of construction engineering, legislation and practice of property development in the PRC
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
• Excellent understanding of the whole property development process in the PRC.
• Good Project management skills
