We are looking for a contractor engineer who can support RF system-level validation and debug for numerous wireless technologies (cellular, BT, WiFi, GPS etc) in the contractor manufacturer environment.
The successful candidate should be with good fundamentals in one or more areas of RF/wireless and electromagnetic theory,antenna design, system integration and wireless communications.
Key Qualifications
1.Knowledge of EM or RF or antenna design
2.Knowledge of integration of wireless technologies such as cellular, GPS, Wifi, and NFC into products.
3.Familiar with antenna pattern design, matching tuning and failure analysis
4.Ability to debug RF desense issues and characterize noise sources is a plus
5.Good written English communication skills is a must, fluent verbal English is a plus
6.Experienced in the contractor manufacturer and statistical analysis is a plus
Service Description
Responsibilities include the plan and execution of wireless OTA performance tests. Using RF engineering know-how to investigate and debug performance issues, verifying fixes and improvements, producing status reports and test reports, involvement in cross functional engineering discussions, looking at ways to improve testing and increase the likelihood of success in product designs. The successful candidate will demonstrate passion for an RF test environment and a good understanding of multiple wireless technologies.
