We are currently expanding our team and seeking an experienced software-focused Automation Engineer. This role entails working closely with our newest software product developed in Germany, contributing significantly to its continuous improvement and adaptation to the Chinese market. The position involves working both at our office and at customer factories on robot-centric automation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
 Integrate and deploy our automation software for various robotic and automation systems in customer factories.
 Provide feedback on the usability and stability of the software and suggest improvements.
 Occasionally patch acute problems and coordinate with the team in Germany to implement these patches within the general software product development process.
 Collaborate closely with the local Software R&D Manager, German development team, and other local teams to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
 Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
 Minimum of 5 years of experience in a role involving industrial automation and software development.
 Proficiency in C++, Python, and experience working with robotic manipulators as well as general automation equipment such as PLCs, actuator and sensors.
 Willingness to travel frequently to customer factories.
 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 Native proficiency in Chinese.
 Good written and spoken English.
Desirable:
 Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
 Ability to work effectively under pressure and in various working conditions.
 Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
