Job Description:

As an Art Portfolio Instructor, you are at the heart of Oogie Art’s mission to give each student the individualized guidance to realize their creative vision. You will be overseeing the studio during class hours, and assisting students in completing their artworks and brainstorming with them to develop ideas for new projects. Working directly with students, their parents, the director, and other instructors, you will help develop an individualized curriculum for each student based on their skills, ideas, goals, and time horizon. Instruction will be in English.

Art Portfolio Instructor Responsibilities:

- Teach students in a variety of media (painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, basic design software, etc.)

- Schedule classes and track attendance and students’ progress.

- Light administrative work (posting attendance and serve as liaison between students and the director.)

- Helping team with marketing when needed (school and education fairs and other events)

Art Portfolio Instructor Qualifications:

- B.A. or B.F.A in Fine Art, Studio Art from schools in US and UK;

MFA strongly preferred

- Professional, practicing artist (portfolio required) and/or art teacher

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills essential, can use English as working language

- Prior teaching experience with kids 7-12 graders a plus

- Love education, work rigorously, patiently, carefully, and have sense of responsibility;

- Hardworking, good at cooperation and communication;

- Knowledge of art college admissions, application requirements, and

notable art competitions a plus

- Knowledge of art history and contemporary artists, galleries, museums, etc.

岗位职责：

1.擅长用各种媒体，包括绘画，素描，雕塑，混合媒体，基本设计软件等教授学生；

2.根据国外院校及艺术教育课程体系的要求，制定教学计划和教学方案；

3.安排课程并跟踪出勤情况和学生的进度；

4.轻度的行政工作：出勤并负责学生和家长、主管间的教学沟通；

5.指导学生完成作品集，学生的灵感方向分析以及作品集制作方法技巧等；

6.协助建立、管理教学师资团队并把控教学，梳理和优化教学结构；

7.协助参加团队的学术及市场活动，如学校展和教育展以及其他活动。

任职资格：

1.毕业于美国，英国的纯艺、美术学等艺术专业；国外本科及以上学历；

2.纯艺、插画、油画、动画、平面、产品、交互、服装设计等专业；

3.具备出色的书面，口头和人际沟通能力，英语可作为工作语言；

4.有过7-12年级学生教学经验者优先;

5.热爱教育事业，工作严谨、耐心、细心、有责任心；
6.逻辑清晰，做事勤奋，具备团队精神，善于合作与沟通；

7.对于美术学院入学，申请要求，以及著名的艺术比赛有了解者优先;

8.了解艺术史和当代艺术家，美术馆，博物馆等。

薪资福利：

缴纳五险一金及节假日福利，薪资根据个人工作经验及能力定。

工作时间：周末工作，休工作日，做五休二。
