The activities are related to materials to be installed on HV Substations, MV/LV substations,
cables, conductors, line accessories and Personal Protection Devices.
The candidate is therefore able to:
check the instruments certifications;
review the laboratory examination results, chemical analysis and test reports;
verify special processes and the relevant workers’ qualifications;
issue all the relevant Quality Reports such as Audit Report, Non-Conformities Report
etc...
orderly collect, check and manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections carried out witnessing the tests, controls and inspections carried out;
check the conformity with the Quality Control Plan and obtain the relevant
documentation;
ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan according to company Specifications' requirements;
align, train or assess any other inspector assigned for joint activities;
lead the NCs (Non Conformity) follow-up and resolution for the manufacturing related issues;
share the lessons learned and criticalities with the worldwide Quality Controls Units;
for his/her domain of expertise, to develop best practices and to be the reference person inside the organization to support other Quality Inspectors in other countries
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Within Global Grids & Innovability Engineering of Components and Devices unit, in a dynamic, stimulating and international context, the person will collaborate in the following
activities:
Provide support in TCA processes (Checking solutions, functionalities, Non
Conformities, new implementations, etc).
Participate in the visual inspection to guarantee compliance with the Group
Standards and the quality of the components.
Technical visits for factory qualification according to company relevant procedures
Participate in the definition of the technical characteristics of the materials and
equipment for the construction and development of the network of the future, ensuring the standardization, safety, sustainability and Innovation.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience as a production process auditor;
Engineering training and technical qualification;
ISO 9001 standard Auditor certification;
Availability for frequent travel mainly on Chinese territory but, if necessary, also to other Asian territories, with a one week's notice from the starting date of each activity;
Advanced knowledge of Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
Chinese native language, Fluent/good in English;
Knowledge of Spanish or Italian language will be considered as a plus
BS Degree in electrical/ electronic engineering. Experience in Quality Control of Medium Voltage Equipment fabrication is preferred;
3+ years in similar position, in particular as Product Quality Engineer/Inspector
Coordinator/Inspector/Expediting Manager;
Knowledge of manufacturing and production cycles, as well as quality arrangement in place in factory;
Experience and knowledge of Electrical components: Smart Metering, Protection and
Control devices, Remote Terminal Units, LV/MV Transformers, LV/MV Resin
Transformers, MV Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS), HV/MV transformers, HV and MV Instrument transformers, GIS, Hibrid Module, Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors and Surge Arresters.
Knowledge of the structure and operation of electricity distribution networks
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot
Capable to work in international, multi-cultural and multidisciplinary team.
Capable to deliver under pressure;
Good communication skills;
Experience in large organization is a plus;
