Purpose:
Ÿ To expedite the development of compliance management system.
Ÿ To build up culture of ethical compliance and resources for adequate training.
Ÿ To take responsibility of daily routine activities
Ÿ To support the expansion of business units, for example: medical and marketing team.
Ÿ To allow group leader to have more focus on the risk areas of the operation activities.
Ÿ To keep close work with business function by providing compliance expertise at the earliest.
Job Description:
The main responsibility of the role is to conduct assurance activities around agreed risks and prioritized business activities and provide BP support to the business functions. The role is expected to act as an independent evaluator of how our controls are functioning to identify what works and what does not for China Market. In specific:
Ø Assist compliance group leader to develop, revise and improve compliance-related systems, processes and operational guidelines to ensure ethical compliance of various businesses functions.
Ø Implement robust policies and procedures to promote compliance culture and business interactions.
Ø Provide compliance support to various business departments, answer daily compliance questions, and guide the departments to implement compliance requirements that follows industry standards and RDPAC requirements.
Ø Supervise the compliance of the company's business departments and conduct compliance inspections covering both meetings and sponsorships. Ensure the spot check runs in an effective and efficient way and be dynamic to new business model. Proactively identify the risks and make proposal for the follow-up actions.
Ø In charge of maintaining EM system including queries from business units and system operations.
Ø Periodically review the monitoring third party programs completion status and support the compliance group leader to prioritize the programs.
Ø Perform non-significant compliance investigations and issue reports support compliance leader for significant investigations.
Ø Maintain professional & effective collaboration with Business Partners
Ø Any agreed-to works by his/her superiors.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree with legal or finance background.
- 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical compliance work (alternatively audit, internal control, financial control, monitoring, etc)
- Understand and interpret new regulations and regulatory requirements in a timely manner
- High ethical standards, trustworthy, operating with absolute discretion
- Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, and be able to organize, communicated, and prioritize work effectively.
- Strong independence, self-motivated, and result orientated.
- Good written and oral communications and collaboration attitude.
- Fluent in English (both orally and written).
Communication in Japanese is preferred.
