· Responsible for review and approval of technical documentation translation from English to targeted native languages. Ensures that there are no translation errors, accuracy of TermBase/ Do Not Translate (DNT) translation, and localized graphics.
· Work closely with translation Project Managers and cross-functionally with Subject Matter Expert (SMEs) to create, update and publish highly accurate translated service documents. Suggest best practice for translation and review processes
· Report on translation quality metrics/targets and collaborate with managers to analyze operational effectiveness to meet quality standards.
· Seek technically capable candidates to develop new products technical documentation and update legacy product documentation for semiconductor equipment.
· Source relevant content knowledge from databases, pre-existing documents, tool builds and Subject Matter Experts to create, develop, update, and publish highly accurate, complete, and concise product and service documents on a timely basis
· Develop and author technical documents while adhering to publication processes and style guides. Work with Applied Material’s Manager to determine scope, deliverables, and schedule of documentation projects.
7. Experience : 1-3 years in translation with responsibility of technical documentation review
8. Qualification :
· Candidate with a B.S. in English, Engineering or Science
· Prefer 3 years semiconductor tool experience, either as a Customer Engineer (CE) or Process Support Engineer (PSE)
· Experienced in simultaneous interpretation in engineering related industry. We do not need simultaneous interpretation.
· Supporting at two languages from the following list plus English:
o Japanese
o French
o Korean
o T Chinese
o S Chinese
· English , T Chinese plus Japanese – priority 1
