Overview: As the New Product Development Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and overseeing the creation and launch of innovative products within our organization. You will lead a team of talented individuals through all stages of product development, from conceptualization to market release. Your strategic vision, leadership skills, and technical expertise will drive the success of our new product initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:

o Lead and inspire team of New product development engineers and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

o Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

o Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members, helping them grow both personally and professionally.

2. Strategic Planning:

o Develop and implement strategic plans for new product development, aligning with company goals and objectives.

o Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and inform product strategy.

o Define clear product requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market demand.

3. Product Development:

o Lead the end-to-end product development process, from idea generation, Research and Analysis, concept development to sample development, Testing, validation and launch.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, allocate resources, and manage timelines effectively.

o Drive the execution of product roadmaps, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

4. Project Management:

o Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure successful execution of new product development initiatives.

o Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

o Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and key deliverables.

5. Quality Assurance:

o Research and establish rigorous testing processes and quality standards to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of new products.

o Conduct thorough product reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

o Establish a culture of quality and excellence, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the product development lifecycle.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain accurate documentation of product specifications, test results, design iterations, and project milestones.

o Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.

· Must be fluent in English (Must be good in Speaking/Writing).

· Proven experience of 7-8 Years in engineering product management, new product development, or related roles, preferably from automobile sector, with a track record of successfully bringing products to market.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.

· Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

· Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

· Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

· Deep understanding of product development processes, including agile methodologies.

· Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, preferably within the motorcycle/automobile sector.
