Main Duties of the Jobholder

1. Assist Process Discipline perform conceptual design, perform FEED, Studies, and detailed analyses and design as per design basis, project specifications, design codes, and standards.

2. Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures

3. Focus on identify project overrun risks in bidding stage, and completing engineer work within budget.

4. Interface with other departments to obtain input for Discipline designs and drawings.

5. Assist in the preparation of estimates for bid proposals, including technical query reviews, execution statements, and workhour estimates.

6. Prepare Discipline engineering design basis, philosophies, and technical specifications, MR, TBE, data sheet, calculation report, study report, as required.

7. Review vendor and subcontractor submittals, checking for compliance with project specifications and providing comments as necessary.

8. Attend Vendor’s FAT procedure and fulfil engineering obligation as required.

9. Provide technical suggestion after check FEED documents in the period of bidding stage, identify potential deviation on engineering and fabrication.

10. Assist procurement personnel in procuring Discipline equipment, materials, and services; ensuring that work produced complies with Customer objectives and procedures.

11. Check engineering performed by others within the Discipline.

12. Perform design verification through single-discipline check/ inter-discipline check (IDC).
