Main Duties of the Jobholder
1. Review project work scope, schedules, specifications/standards and understand the project requirement.
2. Cooperate with construction supervisor to prepare fabrication sequence and particular fabrication process method statement, procedure or instruction to support construction activities.
3. Manage and control material issue including material requisition, calculate and distribute fabrication materials to subcontractor to ensure construction schedule.
4. Take part in design and constructability reviews to ensure adequate planning, material identification and input at design stage through to hook up.
5. Solve problems and initiate site queries to ensure fabrication execution fluently and good productivity.
6. Review scope changes, additional works or reworks and initiate revision orders / change orders, and register into DTCMS.
7. Prior to the project commencement, review the fabrication schedule and work out the details L4 schedule with the planning team.
8. Review design model/drawings for constructability and identify any special items/sub-contractor requirements and feedback to Engineering to incorporate on AFC drawings.
9. Prepare red line mark-up drawing to support site construction and inspection activity
10. Review vendor data for interdisciplinary interfaces as required.
11. Monitor work pack/MN issue and advises priorities to the lead designer and discipline manager based on material availability and scheduled deliveries etc. Ensure the yard/shop is supplied with correct materials and drawings on time and monitor execution of work pack/MN..
12. Provide assistance to MCS group in the requirements for material top up orders and miscellaneous requirements.
13. Raise Site Queries to utilise available material (substitutions) or deviations as required.
14. Prepare and issues activity notice to the client / all concerned people.
15. Report weekly fabrication progress and monitors production man-hours and productivity.
16. Review 4 week look ahead plans and identify the constraints (material / drawings )
17. Co-ordinate to establish PIMS basic data, data input, status tracking and trouble shooting.
18. Co-ordinate and support construction supervisor to manage sub-contractors if any.
19. Preparation of punch lists, and closure tracking

ESSENTIAL:
Be familiar with the rules and standards of discipline, have expert knowledge in the codes and standards of offshore/onshore module construction and fabrication industry. 2.Be familiar with module construction process and have a comprehensive understanding of project construction.
Be familiar with discipline material requirements and preparation.
Be familiar with discipline work procedure and standard.
Be familiar with procedure and method statement compile.
Have good computer ability, can easily use office software, Auto CAD, 3D module and material control system to support daily work.
Have good ability of English language including listening/writing/speaking, can fluently communicate technical queries with foreign client representative.
Positive work attitude.
Have good ability of communication and co-operation. Can communication with different discipline and department, contractor and sub-contractor.
Have good technical and construction problem solving ability.
Have strong ability to work under pressure.
Over than 6 years’ work experience on onshore/offshore oil and gas facilities fabrication.
University graduate in Engineering or related disciplines.
