职位描述

Day to day responsibilities:



·
Identifies,
assesses, and manages project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies,
escalating as appropriate via the agreed governance framework.


·
Ensures that all
project status reporting is accurate, informative, and timely, and directly
provides progress reports as agreed as part of the governance framework at
agreed intervals.


·
Working with
Finance, external Vendor, and various Tech team to gather and draft data and report
requirements and ensure Development team is clear with Business Requirements.


·
Manage and track
Tech development and testing status, perform pre-UAT and support Finance team
for UAT, defect management and track status to achieve sign off.


·
Assist Tech team
if required to link up with local Vendor on any questions from internal Tech
team.



Key objectives and outputs:


RAIDS:

·
Identifies, assesses,
and manages project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, escalating as
appropriate via the agreed governance framework.


Change Control:

·
Controls the scope
of projects and ensure that rigorous change controls are exercised.


Planning:

·
Ensures that realistic
detailed project plans are prepared and maintained, providing regular and
accurate reports on progress against plan to stakeholders as appropriate.


·
Ensure project
dependencies and assumptions are factored into the planning process.



Benefits Management:

·
Support
identification, definition & tracking of the realisation of the project
benefits in line with the expectation set out in the Business Case


·
Ensuring any
risks, issues or assumptions related to benefit realisation are outlined.


Governance and Reporting:

·
Define and
implement governance and reporting structure appropriate for the project.


·
Establish and run
Working Group


·
Ensures projects
meet the desired requirements of Accountable Executives and that acceptance and
handover to business as usual are managed against agreed acceptance criteria
and to a defined plan.


·
Ensures that all
project status reporting is accurate, informative, and timely, and directly
provides progress reports as agreed as part of the governance framework at
agreed intervals.


Change standards:

·
Ensures projects
being managed are compliant with relevant governance methodologies (e.g. iCompass / SDLC / Agile and Navigator)


·
Ensures projects
being managed are compliant with the central ePMO function’s directives,
initiatives and change handbook.


·
Ensures compliance
to QA per Change Framework and initiates other assurance activities where
required.


Typical Support Required:

·
Some Project
Manager oversight required to ensure project structure, governance and scope
are set up to acceptable standards.


·
Needs support from
immediate managers in the design of areas of communication with challenging or
more senior stakeholders.


·
Immediate manager is
likely to provide quality control oversight on key deliverables.


·


Stakeholder
Management and Leadership


·
Typically faces
off to AVP/VP/Director level stakeholders.


·
Prepares and
maintains a stakeholder mapping and communication plan and considers internal
and external stakeholders.


·
Initiates &
develops and manages communication channels acting as a single point of contact
for defined groups for single project/work stream.


·
Communicates to
key stakeholders/groups to keep them informed of key changes and potential
impact of the project outcome through published status reports.


·
Facilitate
negotiation/mediation between different stakeholders to aid decision making
process and escalating to superiors in a timely manner.

and Problem Solving


·
Demonstrates a
broad understanding of how the bank operates and the metrics used to measure performance.


·
Analyses problems
and evaluates options in a logical and systematic way.


·
Seeks the advice
of stakeholders to better create clarity in complex situations, understand
problems, evaluate options, and make decisions.

·

Person
Specification


·
A track
record of delivery involving both project management and business analysis
skill sets in Regulatory Reporting or Business Transformation projects.


·
Strong
communication skills which primarily includes Articulation, Negotiation,
Ability to drive and facilitate forums involving cross-functional people of all
grades.


·
Strong
stakeholder/senior stakeholder management with the ability to challenge and negotiate.


·
Should be able to
drive initiatives independently with minimum oversight from seniors.


·
High degree of
organisational awareness.


·
Confidence to
challenge colleagues to ensure the most appropriate solution delivered.




Working background/experience:



·
Ability to communicate (both verbally and in written) in
English.


·
Familiar/Experienced with China Regulatory Reporting
requirements.


·
Strong Business Analysis and Project Management skills
(e.g. Planning, RAIDs, Stakeholder Management, Requirements gathering, Testing)
in Banking projects.


·
Basic understanding of finance and technology in banking
domain.


·
Should have experience in managing UAT Cycles, performing
pre-UAT or functional testing.


·
Proven experience of operating in a matrix management
framework.



Education/qualifications:



Qualifications (preferred, not mandatory)


·
Qualified Accountant


·
Understanding of Agile, Kanban, Waterfall methodologies
