Responsbilities

• Manage IC-Electrical component suppliers and related distributors and nurture strong long-term relationships
• Achieve assigned strategic supplier account objectives, including execution of Master Supply Agreement and/or multi-year agreements
• Drives Coherent internal teams as necessary to ensure suppliers are meeting the needs of our Business
• Lead and schedule supplier meeting with R&D and management team to review and align supplier product roadmaps with our new products development plans
• Work with supplier to ensure current and new compliance regulations are incorporated into their processes and systems.
• Handle strategic supplier complaints, problems and escalations in a timely and effective manner

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of work experience in manufacuring industry
• Knowledge of Transceiver and high power laser products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong relationships
• Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Availability to travel as needed
• BS degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or relevant field
• MBA or MS preferred
