Tasks

Responsible for Decentralized Distribution Area (DDA) to assure vehicle in excellent condition, in lean process, at competitive costs, with minimal safety risk and as sustainable as possible ,also in line with BBT/BBT-1 strategy of digitization, lean and flexible, people development, sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

· Based on planning in forthcoming week/month/year 's market needs, conducting a short and long term plan on DDA resource (e.g. size, location, facility and structure and people qualification of service provider) and capacity including storage, services, and dispatch.

· Standardization of compound management in DDA to improve and realize VPS projects stepwises.

· Continuously shorten DDA vehicle handling time and avoid unnecessary process in DDA to achieve the overall logistics efficiency in terms of cost and leading time.

· Maximize the DDA receiving capacity with flexible solution to meet pre-haul(Train / Vessel/Truck) volume fluctuation demands.

· WMS software and hardware solution enhancement in VDM system.

· Risk analysis, prevention and emergency backup plan for any force majeure, contamination or any other incident which may impact the running operation to ensure the logistics stability.

· Set up operation target, steer service provider to fulfill BMW requirement to achieve business success.

· Responsible for onsite management of all activities in DDA to ensure the service provider 100% delivery the contract requirement in the compliance way.

· Any other projects nominated by line manager related BBT strategy: Lean, Green, Digital, People.

Qualifications

· Diploma in Logistics/Business Administration of an University or University of applied Sciences or equivalent education.

· Able to actively deal with challenges in a changing business environment.

· Project management professional.

· Know-How on finished vehicle logistics warehouse management.

· Operation excellence orientated.

· Manage in a solution-oriented way, have general management mindset to lead and coach the team.

· Communicate effectively and efficiently.

· Analytical, strategic thinking capabilities.

· Good at teamwork, especially within intercultural team.

· Working experience in Automotive Industry or Logistics 4-6 Years.

· Service provider/project management experience 4-6 Years.

· Team leading experience 1-3 Years.
