Tasks

The E/E process planner is responsible for planning and implementing the E/E commissioning and test processes in the series production and in the SB/WE-measures.

He/She adjusts the developed testing and commissioning methods in terms of whether it can be implemented in the assembly process.

Target is the efficient integration of these tasks in the assembly process, recognizing the premises of technology Assembly (VPS principals, E/E reference system, minimal workload for test system, minimal lead time…).

For this, the E/E process planner takes the process modules (Prozessbaukasten) and standards, defined by the professional teams, and implements efficiency measures through plant specific tailoring (adjustment content, change of methods and amount, product influencing).

Key Responsibilities

· Troubleshooting on electric/electronic test equipment in the assembly line and investigation of reasons.

· Follow up all E/E related errors in production, creating reports with APDM/IQP, responsible for meeting his/her targets in terms of: quality, production volume, efficiency, direct runner.

· Implement the PU and technical changes in the assembly process in time.

· Implement changes for new models in the assembly process in time.

· Planning and optimizing of new test and commissioning systems by using the E/E commissioning and test platform CASCADE and the diagnosis system EDIABAS.

· Provide input for identifying requirements as part of the process of testing system development. Define targets for functions of the ECUs that support the assembly process and to provide specifications on the electrical system design to simplify the assembly process and increase stability.

· Participation in system acceptance procedure for the testing and commissioning systems with the aim of validating own systems and results.

· Responsible for planning and providing SBM (Special equipment).

· Responsible for the adjustment of E/E plant testing systems on the basis of diagnostic concept changes.

· Optimize CASCADE tests in the assembly process.

· Check whether all the requirements made by T have been implemented in the finished component.

· Review the specification (Lastenheft) and technical product descriptions (TPb) with the aim of being able to evaluate the effects on the assembly process (product and process risks).

· Ensures that the process data in assembly planning system (ZMD) is created and maintained.

· Take the random tasks distributed by line manager or the CoC within the team working scope.

Qualifications

· Bachelor / master degree in electrical, software or mathematics engineering.

· Knowledge of electrical system of cars.

· Knowledge of software (e.g. Java, C++, SQL, VBA,.)

· Self-initiative, improvisation skills.

· Technical education in electrical and electronic engineering or equivalent knowledge.

· Open minded in dealing with other.

· Fluent English in spoken and written, German would be an advantage.

· Proficiency with computer operation and MS office knowledge.

· Background in electric and electronic 4-6 Years.

· Electrical system of cars 4-6 Years.

· Experience in writing software 1-3 Years.

· Familiar to use a computer 4-6 Years.

· Automotive manufacturing systems and process 1-3 Years.
