We are looking for an experienced English researcher/editor for our global business education team. The researcher/editor will work closely with our head professor for global programs to ensure the accuracy, flow, logic, style, and accessibility of relevant course materials, presentations, articles, and other English contents. The researcher/editor will also cooperate with other members of our research team to provide knowledge support for our global programs and events.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work with professors to prepare course materials, presentations, speeches, and other English materials to ensure accuracy, flow, logic, style, and accessibility;
2. Work with professors to write magazine articles and/or other program-related materials for an English-speaking audience;
3. Conduct basic desktop research and fact-checking when needed;
4. Edit and proofread English materials prepared by other members of the research or from external sources;
5. Work with other members of the research team to translate and/or consolidate all Chinese and English teaching content;
6. Work with the marketing and/or public relations team to publish relevant English content.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree from a globally reputable university;
2. At least 2-3 years of full-time work experience in an English editing, reporting, media or research role for a globally oriented organization;
3. General knowledge of and long-term interest in economic growth and inequality, international political and economic relations, globalization and business strategies, and other related topics;
4. Excellent skills in English expository writing, editing, and proofreading;
5. Superior PowerPoint skills, great attention to details;
6. Strong ability to conduct desktop research, check facts online, and evaluate social media sources;
7. Self-motivation and good teamwork spirit;
8. Great time management skills, be able and willing to work across time zones and occasionally during weekend courses.
